Building the future

The Real Estate Division of the Stavola Companies (Stavola Realty Company) was created in 1955 with the purchase of its first property, a parcel of oceanfront land located in Sea Bright, New Jersey. The property, known as Edgewater Beach Club, was developed and is currently operated as an upscale beach club resort with catering facilities and remains a company owned and managed property.

Stavola Realty Company has expanded its real estate holdings through new acquisitions and the development and redevelopment of the properties in its portfolio. The company currently owns and manages its diverse portfolio which includes shopping centers, office buildings, free-standing retail properties, gas stations, restaurants, downtown retail properties, residential properties and raw land in Monmouth, Middlesex, Ocean, Somerset, and Hunterdon counties. Redevelopment of Ocean Plaza in Ocean Township, Chapel Hill Center in Middletown, Adelphia Plaza and Pond Road Plaza in Freehold, has attracted such major retail tenants as Wegman’s Market, Acme Markets, Whole Foods Market, Staples, Stein Mart, DSW, Michael’s Arts & Crafts, Walgreen’s, Joyce Leslie, Pier 1, Verizon Wireless, Burger King, Bank of America, Panera Bread, Dunkin Donuts, Bonefish Grill, Hand & Stone Massage, Hair Cuttery and PNC Bank in addition to local small businesses.
